Cywaith Cymru were commissioned by the National Assembly to prepare a public art strategy for the Senedd. Four art commissions were taken forward from the initial strategy, all of which are integrated with the building. Martin Richman was appointed to work on adding colour to the new building. |

Four art commissions were taken forward from the initial strategy, all of which are integrated with the building. Alex Beleschenko’s work in this space is a two metre wide, slightly domed glass artwork set into the chamber’s oak flooring. |

Richard Harris has created a distinctive curving form, which seems to emanate from the building. |

The Welsh Development Agency commissioned glass artist Martin Donlin to design and supply a series of coloured glass windows as part of a new office development in Bridgend. The building was designed by the Wigley Fox Partnership in Cardiff. |

A series of mosaics created by artists Maureen O'Kane, Andrew Bolton, and children from 12 local schools were unveilied at Victoria Dock, Caernarvon on February 19th. The project was sponsored by the Institute of Welsh Affairs as part of the ‘Creu Cyfle’ scheme and by Gwynedd County Council. |

When Cywaith Cymru was approached by Monmouthshire County Council in January 2003 there had already been numerous studies over the last ten years to develop ideas on how to improve the town centre. There were three main objectives: to create a quality space conducive to retailing and visitor activity, to calm traffic and improve the pedestrian environment, and to generate economic potential for the town centre with a successful application for funding from Welsh European Funding Office and the Welsh Development Agency, as well as funding allocated from the local authority, a scheme outlined by the landscape architects and engineers, W.S. Atkins, was to be implemented. Artists Howard Bowcott and Tim Shutter were selected to work closely with Cywaith Cymru and the landscape architect from Atkins.

Eisteddfod 2005 - The ArtStructure on the Maes |

NODDFA in 2005 is the third manifestation of Cywaith Cymru's commissioning of an ArtStructure to be designed, built and utilised on the Eisteddfod field next to the Visual Arts Pavilion. It is a work designed and built by Sean Curley, in which the artwork of Helen Jones will be exhibited within an 'inner sanctum'. |

Carmarthenshire County Council have restored a 21 kilometre stretch of coastline from Loughor to Pembrey following receipt of a substantial Millennium Commission award.
Cywaith Cymru implemented an art strategy for this ground breaking project. Three artists were commissioned - Mick Petts, Richard Harris, and Michael Fairfax - to work in different areas of the coastal park.
