Cywaith Cymru . Artworks Wales manages a wide programme of public art commissions and special projects throughout Wales and seeks to provide greater access to all public art.

Cywaith Cymru collaborates with both the public and private sector in developing commission projects and major art strategies such as the Art Programme on behalf of Sustrans for the National Cycle Network in Wales, and the Art Strategy for the Llanelli Millennium Coastal Park Project, as well as public art strategies in relation to urban regeneration projects.  Cywaith Cymru also develops programmes related to temporary events, such as major exhibitions and seminars.

Services include:

Strategic Planning

• Research and development of public art policies.
• The preparation of full-scale studies in relation to urban and rural regeneration.

Project Management

• Consultation, liaison and management of projects and individual commissions.
• Organisation of selection procedures, including national and international competitions.
• Management of budgets for commssions and other public art projects.
• Advice on fund-raising including information on grant schemes.
• Technical support including specialist advice on insurance and installation.
• Exhibitions - curation and project management.
