Flint Railway Station is one of the key access points for the National Cycle Network in Wales and as a result of improvements to the station approaches a sculpture was commissioned from Derbyshire based artist Brain Fell as a centre-piece to the frontage of the station.
The sculpture is in the form of an 11 foot high human foot, fabricated in steel. It gives the appearance of being mechanised through the proturusion of interlocking cogs from the top of the hollow ankle and is inspired by all forms of transport.
