Cywaith Cymru is currently in the process of putting its extensive archive of work, dating back to the early Welsh Sculpture Trust projects from 1981 onwards, online.

The Trust was formed to encourage the placing of art in the environment through commissions, exhibitions and residencies and has evolved and grown over the years, widening its remit to cover a wide spectrum of public art activity.  In 1990 it changed its name to reflect these changes and in 1991 it took over the work of the Welsh Arts Council Commissioning Service.  A further important development took place in 1998 when Cywaith Cymru was invited to develop and manage a new national Artist in Residence Programme by the Arts Council of Wales.

The projects currently listed, in descending order of date (the most recent first) have been completed in the last three years and can be accessed through the project name.  Earlier projects will be added regularly  - so keep looking!
